Rania ran through the forest, pulling her brother behind her. Those soldiers were after her again, and she couldn't loose them!
Religan wasn't helping things, he was in a trace-like state because she had interupted him during one of his spells. He would be fine though, if they hurried up.
Teran was trotting beside them, wheezing slightly, the cubs were sleeping snugly in Teran's packs and Caessa had wandered off on her own.
"Religan, hurry up!" Rania hissed.

Arienne walked through the forest. For a short time, it was rather peaceful. Then she heard shouts. She turned around just in time to see herself getting smashed into.

"Ooff!" Rania grunted, stmbling backwards, making her trip over her brothers feet and knocking them both down. The fall seemed to wake Religan up. Religan blinked for a moment and frowned at his sister. "What are you doing Rania?" He muttered, rubbing his foot where she stepped on him. Rania was just staring at the girl she had ran into, she was a little dizzy from the fall, and confused. The pony, Teran, had stopped, wheezing harder to catch his breath.

She held up her arms as the girl ran into her. She stumbled back a few steps and regained balance. It wasn't too odd looking of a group. A girl, a boy, and a pony with some wolf cubs. For a moment, she just stared at them, taking in what was going on. Then, she held out her hand to help the girl up. I'm sorry...what are you running from? she spoke telepathically. She was capable of speaking normally, but this had become second nature.

"Them!" Rania pointed at the rustling bushed, then took off again, her brother trailing behind her.
Some men, panting heavily, wearing the kings mark on thier armour and sheilds, emerged from the bushes. "You!" One of the men spoke to the girl. "Did you see a young woman and a boy come through here? The outlaws? Kederrania and the Necromancer?" He demanded, they all just wanted to catch them and go home.

She thought for a moment. She had a few brushes with soldiers before, and enjoyed seeing them wear themselves out on these chases. Sensing their longing, she shook her head. "Well, I've seen plenty young women and boys. But I don't know anybody by those names, nor would I recognize them as outlaws, as I'm just passing through." It was the truth, as she always spoke. Just somewhat generalized.

"Have you seen any just now?" The first one spoke again. "Speak woman!" A more impatient soldier shouted, thrusting his spear vaguely in her direction.
They didn't seem to notice the darkness creeping in around them, but in thier heads, they did hear an echoing chant.
Rania and Religan had hid themselves behind a tree, Religan had started casting his magic on the soldiers, to scare them away.
"What is that?" The soldiers started to panic, to swat at things in the air that weren't there, to yell things at unseen people. Pretty soon they had all turned and ran away.

She watched them run, an eyebrow raised. She recognized the magic, in a way. She couldn't quite remember what form it was, though. She wanted to see them run faster, though new that anything she would pull would be bad for the forest.

Religan laughed slightly, Rania smiled. "I think a rest, sister," Religan proposed, sitting. "Yes, you have earned one I think," Rania said, opening Teran's pack and setting the sleeping cubs on the ground. Haewin and yawned, waking and stretching a little. Rania went to the other pack and produced some food from it, giving some to Religan, and some small scraps of meat for the cubs.
Caessa, the fox, appeared in front of the girl Rania had previously ran into. Caessa sat, watching her closely, curiously.

She looked down at the fox, unmoving. She wasn't afraid, but didn't want to do anything to anger the animal. Secretly, she wondered if the fox would be able to pick up on her dragon blood. She had caused a few wolves to go crazy before do to that, and was unsure.

Growing bored, Caessa walked past the lady and to the tree Religan and Rania were behind, which wasn't very far away.

She watched the fox, then walked over to another tree and sat down. Out of boredom, she played with a flame of fire, conjuring it and setting it out again in her hand. "You can come out, you know. The soldiers are long gone by now..."
